I always found the memes generated by this naturally dour appearing cat to be highly entertaining. This is the first one I ever saw and it applied very well to my situation at the time.

There are hundreds of others.
Gonna miss that cat.

Grumpy cat even won a lawsuit some time ago, if I recall, to the tune of $700k +/-
Owners licensed her pic on a product and the licensee used it on more products than authorized.
Poor, wealthy, dead Grumpy Cat. May she rest in peace.
She needs an honorary blend named in her honor, something that just wont dry out or burn well...

Her odd appearance was the result of a combination of birth defects. She was never going to live a normal lifespan.
The fun part is in knowing it was all a good-natured put-on that took off by accident. Everyone who knew the cat said she was affectionate and playful... not grumpy at all.

I bet she WAS a sweetheart, to put up with all the photography. I'm always glad these little beings hang around as long as they do. So-called Grumpy will be remembered.
