...or is it a Poker? Whatever, this resto was completed today with a layer of Carnauba wax. It was more work than I had anticipated but now it looks like new. There´s still a faint smell of tobacco coming form the bowl although I used a LOT of alcohol on it. The curse of aromatics that can only be banished by strong english tobaccos!

Thank you Timothy, but there really wasn´t much to buff. Apart from some light stem corrosion and a bit of blackening of the bowls top this one was in good condition.

It's almost straight and almost flat on the bottom, so I'd think of it as a poker more than a cherrywood. Beautiful pipe,

really nice balance, lines, and real depth of finish on the briar. And that stem shows a lot of work, and class.

This is the prettiest Beraldi I've seen. Some of the ones I've spotted online seemed to combine finishes in an

eccentric way that was interesting but not really successful to my eyes. Beraldi should get back on track with this

era of its pipes.
