So earlier this year I acquired a Rick Black Morta Thick Rhodesian. I truly liked the dimensions and smoking qualities and began following Rick's page more closely. Late last week, I snapped up a "second" from Rick for a really good price and Rick was kind enough to add a nice tamp to the order.

So here it is - Rick Black Morta Devil Anse style with zebra stripe stem. Pic is not the best, but you should get the idea.

Enjoy it. I have some concerns, but as you say, the picture isn't the best.

Beefy mortas are some of the best pipes going! Great smoking characteristics and that one's beautiful!

Great looking pipe, the stem really makes it pop!

Darwin, thanks for the updated pic, color balance looks more appropriate now.

Like any pipe, I'm sure there are things about it that not everyone likes. I knew why Rick considered it a second and after inspection I didn't have a problem with it. I just ran a bowl of Boswell's Mild English through this and found it to be a good smoke. Once I calmed my cadence down, it smoked cool with a very open draw.
