This Ben Wade Danish Pride was not in that bad of a condition and everything went as planned. Thought I'd share the before and after images of the outcome of this project. :) I think it's a gem of a pipe!

Incredible work :) With all those contours, that stem definitely doesn't look like it was a walk in the park. Very nicely done.

Wow! Very nice job! Could you talk a little more about what you did to the finish? I have two BW Freehand's that are carved but smooth and I a third one that is a combination smooth & rusticated finish from the same era. The pipe with the combo finish has the same, exact bit as your's does. The finish on the two smooth pipes is very low gloss. I would like to shine them up a bit but have not tried a micro pad or had them on a buffing wheel.

I am just straigh up jealous about your restoration skill. Im not slouch but dam your work is always awesome and I don't think it is just the buffer I assume you have. Looks great!
