It's been quite a while since last time I was posting here, anyways, onto what matters.

Last week I bought myself an estate Kriswill Supreme Freehand (handmade in Denmark)and the pipe had a broken tenon (I knew it did) and got it for 9$ (shipping included).

I looked around on Facebook for someone to get it repaired for me and thats where the maker of Scorpius Pipes (portuguese artisan) offered to restore it for me.

The fit between mouthpiece and shank isnt perfect but it looks quite good and was a good restore overall, I am dying to light it tomorrow which is when it arrives.
Some pictures of before and after:

Here's a good size comparison, both that Vauen and that Stanwell Prestige were the biggest pipes I had until I got that Kriswill (it actually almost fits my whole hand).

Previous owner tried to glue the stem to the shank (hence why it doesnt fit perfectly now)

Another size comparison and now finally, the restored pipe which arrives here tomorrow or so:

Beautiful pipe, hell of a find. If you're interested, this pipe today would cost between $205 and $383 due to inflation. The Supreme freehand models originally cost $35-$65 in 1971. Source: http://pipepages.com/stanprice.htm
