My friend has a Canadian shape Comoys that just recently had the stem crumble. He's looking to get it replaced, and I knew people on here could put me in touch with someone who can make a new stem. Who would be the best as far as quality/price goes?

Walker is OK, but his Comoy logo is slightly larger than the original. He uses 1/8" white rod and the actual diameter is 3/32". I believe Tim West(JH Lowe) does the correct diameter, but I just had pipes come back from him that were sent in August of last year, so mind the wait time. Walker is two months. Also, mind that the replacement stems are pre-molded and will not be quite the same as the original.

I can't speak to the exact dimensions of the logo on the stem - I will leave that detail to others, I have had a Comoy's done by Walker Briar Works and was very happy with the work. Actually stopped by in person to drop it off. Great guy and very happy with the work.

@samcoffeeman

Who just use pre-molded stems? Tim West or Walker's?
