Curious, but I have a pipe about a year old that has only ever had non aro VaPer blends in it. It is very similar in shape to my favorite burley pipe and I think I'd get better use out of it smoking burleys...I was wondering if I should just start smoking burley in it, or does it need some sort of treatment?

I find that perique ghosts as much as latakia. I've converted pipes. It doesn't take more than a half dozen smokes.

never thought about this much i guess. Smoke what you want, in what you want. As long as you are not smoking a really "ghosty" blend you should be just fine.

When it comes to smoking Vas and Vapers vs. blends that have burley and virginia in them, I don't ever bother rededicating a pipe, I just load and go. The flavors can tend to complement each other fairly well and I find that the flavor profile between a lot of these blends is fairly similar.
