VERY MILD - Virginias come to mind.
Quick iPhone reply:
Aylesbury Classic Flake

Astley No.44

Orlik Golden Slice

Capstan yellow

McBarren Modern Virginia (just tried some, surprisingly good, mild)
Also, Shortcut to Mushrooms if you are interested in a crossover blend. If by mild, you mean creamy and smooth then try this stuff!

War Horse Ready Cut by Standard Tobacco Company of Pennsylvania is a good introduction to burley based blends

I also like the John Cotton blends by the same company.

I like G&H Brown flake unscented ... if I could keep it lit.
A slightly aromatic tobacco is about 75% your favorite va + 25% BCa
G&H Black and Brown is also slightly aromatic but very tobacco like.
Those are the three I smoke when I want more tobacco less sweet.

Warhorse=mild? I've heard the ready cut is milder than the bar, but is it really mild?
Well, you got to start somewhere.

And I think War Horse Ready Cut is milder than the other burly blends I like.

Yep, this. Capstan is a good choice or Dunhill flake if you can still find it.
But, you may not exactly like mild VA's if you're an aro smoker. Try some G.L. Pease Union Square for a more fuller flavor.

GL Pease The Virginia Cream would be a great transition from aros to regular tobaccos. The topping is just slight vanilla/bourbon but barely there, it's primarily the tobaccos coming through with just a faint hint of topping here and there. I'd hardly even call it an aro but it's delicious.

I thought so. Try Stokkebye's Luxury Twist Flake Fred. A good Virginia that is only slightly flavored.

I am a Stokkebye fan, so I’d recommend Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake for a Va, and English Oriental Supreme for a mellow yet nuanced English blend. And you can add in about 20% Lane BCA to EOS and get a fair facsimile to the lost McLelland Oriental flavors, which I started on. Orlik Golden Slices are a staple also.

Yep. Stokkebye also as mentioned. I forgot that one. Do that. It’s a solid staple and lots of reviews to compare with what you are tasting.
