I have a couple of pipes, nose warmers, with no idea who the carver is. Does anyone recognize the style or the markings? I'm guessing a North American pipe maker just because of the interesting take on the pipes. The rings you see on the pipes spin. Something different. The markings are EE2, with what makes me think of a curling G but boxed and squared off and backwards. I've looked around but can't find anything like this.
Thanks for your input.

I was just surfing the internet, following up on Cosmic's Greek reference, and ran across EE2 as Efthymios Efthymiou. Thanks guys for confirming. I've never heard of his work but I like what I see. Does anyone know about him?

I'm so happy to see my Trolls again :)

They was my firsts ever I sent to Canada couple years ago.

Was ordered by a great person, pipe collector and friend who unfortunately left us

Really happy that someone take care of them.

They are both made with briar from sir Zavos, both rings are stainless ring.

If I remember well the first one has German ebonite mouthpiece and the second an acrylic one from Jansen (Hamburg)

I hope you enjoy them

Very pleased to hear from you epsilon2. It's not often one has the chance to chat with the actual pipe maker. Thank you for providing information on each of the pipes. I am very pleased with them. Yes, it was unfortunate that the original owner has passed on. I'm told he had a huge pipe collection. I will take very good care of your pipes. If you don't mind answering a few questions I would appreciate knowing:
When did you begin making pipes?

How may pipes have you made so far?

How many do you make a year?
Thanks very much!

I closed couple days ago five years on pipe making.

With my Olivekobs I made 500, maybe more :)

Was hungry to learn and experiment on wood

From this year I decided to carve maximum 50.

The first pipe was also used for the

advertising of the Medusa EE2 pipe blend :)
