Thanks for the comments everyone. A great time was had by all for this day long event. Good tobacco, excellent food, satisfying libations, and the best of camaraderie. Many Thanks to Bill Feuerbach for hosting this annual event at the Kaywoodie Factory and making the 60 pipes, one for each contestant in the smoking contest.

Its a pipe smoking contest, you get three grams of tobacco, a peice of paper, a wooden dowel (tamper), 2 matches, and a pipe, you get five minutes to prepare your tobacco and pack your pipe, 1 minute to light uusing your two matches, and you see how long you can keep it lit. I made it 21 minutes, my soc professor, Mike 'Doc' Garr, made it an hour and 12 minutes.
They said that doc won the new record, but had preiously set a record of 1 hour 36 minutes, they mis-announced that though.
That is a basic rundown of the event, there is also dinner and several vendors, it was pretty fun
