I have two Radice pipes that I really like. I also have Savinelli, Ser Jacabo and Ferndowns. However, for the price my two Radices have all my other pipes beat. What is your experience with Radice pipes?

Hi Salewis, and let me take this opportunity to welcome you to the forums!

I don't have any experience with Radice's, but I would like to see pix of yours

if you have a chance to post some.

I only have one, a hawkbill, and I like it. Nice wide, deep bowl. Good smoker.

They also code their pipes for dating. Something I wish Peterson and others would do.

Radice and Ferndown are two companies that seemed to have really gotten the recession. They have readjusted their prices to reflect the market opportunities while keeping their quality high. I'm a fan of Radice but prefer Ferndown's more classic English style.

I have admired the work of Radice but I am not certain I would ever take the dive on one. They are still out of my price range... I have too much tobacco left to buy!!! :D

IMO, Radice is right up there with Ser Jacapo (of which I own 2). Pricey? Yes. Rewarding? Definitely. The Italians do have a way with briar.
