Well Rad Davis retired from making pipes and while I was fortunate to have him make a Morta pipe with bamboo shank on commission I still figured there would be time to get one of his briars. This Rhodesian with plateau top unsmoked came across my radar and I took one for the team! :)

Very nice. I'm hoping to acquire a Rad Davis myself at as low a cost as possible. I know their going to sky rocket in value now. Rad Davis's blasts are some of the few blasts that I really like. I'm more of a smooth guy. I love the look of his blasts though.

Having now purchased pipes at higher and lower price points, I will have to say that rad Davis is about the best value one can get
