Rad made my day today with the completion of my first Calabash. This will be also be my first Rad with a 2014 date stamp. It couldn't have came at a better time as my break starts tomorrow and I will be home to receive this one. I am certainly looking forward to adding this beautiful piece to my collection.

Dimensions are:

Overall: 2 x 6 1/4

Bowl: 13/16 x 1 3/4

Weight: 60 grams
The stem is cumberland with an inlay of spalted tamarind.

Wow, Chris, that's a looker!
It reminds me of some of the Danish approaches to the bent Dublin shape. Love the interplay between the different finishes and the stain colour with the brindle.

I have almost the same pipe from Rad, except mine is slightly shorter, maybe 5 1/4 that I commissioned from him in late 2013.
I'm smoking it right now, and mine is a great smoker.
Hope yours turns out as well.

Chris, great looking Calabash, love the color and the blast is great. Looks almost exactly like that one I received from Rad but yours has the stem application, I like your better. We will have to swap when we hook up. No way can yours be prettier than mine. I hope you love yours as much as I do mine, congrats buddy.
