I've been a somewhat casual fan of Burnside's blues music for a long time. I've got a bunch of his albums, but I never thought to look for live videos of him. Until now, that is. Well damn, here's something Youtube dug up for me with great ease.

I discovered R.L. kinda backwards. It was my absolute love for the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion that got me into R.L. Then he was taken away from us. Damn shame. I believe his son plays with the North Mississippi Blues All Stars.

I happened to find a cd of "Ass Pocket Of Whiskey" at a tag sale. Thought it was a rap or hip-hop album, but something made me give it a shot. So glad I did.
