I just received a 100g tin of Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake, my first by the way, and I had a question on how these tins fair for long term storage. The tin design is such where the lid, which is much smaller in size than the rest of the container, is on the top and appears to be pushed shut rather than screwed on.
Do these types of tins hold well in the cellar? I added this blend to the top of a recent order and have no plans to open it anytime soon, but the lid design has me second guessing whether putting it away as is for a while is a good idea. I'd prefer not to jar it if I don't have to.
Thanks in advance.

Those type of tins are best stored at my house. I'll PM you the shipping address.
(yes, they seal tight, over and over again)
