Found some pipes to work on restoring. The first one is a Rocky Briar with the old kaywoodie KBB stamp. Anyone have an idea on what year it could be, is it a second? Nothing on pipephil on it.

Next one is called Briar Kobs, it is done up to look like a cob but I've never heard of it.

The third is a collection of 3 pipes together. The person sent me this pic and said there are no makers marks crept the middle has nylon on the bottom of the metal bowl. From what I gather it's a brylon pipe bowl. I figure the other two most likely are the same material.

If any one knows any more on the first two I'd be grateful. I was thinking of buying at least the first one, looks like it may if been made before the 50's from what I could find. Second one is just interesting.

On the first pipe you have it backwards. Old Kaywoodies have the KB&B clover stamp. They later stopped putting it on Kaywoodies. So you have a KB&B Rocky Briar. It looks like it has a flared bit so...maybe 40s. The rest look like 40s-50s-60s pipes to me.

Nice KB&B; that will clean up really handsomely. Those metal stem pipes might be impressive too.

Two digit prefix number, "17 KB&B Rocky Briar, sandblast finish, push tenon, black vulcanite stem (1920's)"

Two digit shape number, "83 Slim Hexagon Apple 1927-1928, 1935-1938"
I think you found a great old pipe!

Thanks for the information everyone, I wanted to find more information before the purchase. I wasn't having much luck finding any thing.
Xrun I was thinking the same on the other pipes. Haven't seen any thing like them crept in older adds on the net.
Mso I think they would be a neat addition since I don't have any thing like them yet.
Thanks for that Dmc I will be checking that out.
