Tonight an suv decided to play chicken with a utility pole. They both lost. For two hours while they hauled away the suv and replaced the pole I had no electricity. No tv or computer.I got out my fifteen year old Sony Walkman which plays as well now as it did when it was new and lit up a pipe.As well as I can remember tonight was the first time I've smoked a pipe by candle lite.

Ever notice when the power goes out life becomes so much simpler . I still have a Walkman casette player from the 80s and it is still going strong as well . What type of music were you listening to Puffy .

I was just kidding about the Beastie Boys. That was the last tape I ever listened to in a Walkman. Of course, Licensed to Ill is classic rock now, right?

I actually heard Nirvana on a adult contemporary 80's station the other day.... It was from the unplugged album, but still I would have never thought that would have happened back in 91.

I still have the original cd walkman that I got when I was maybe 4 or 5, still works and I beat the shit outta it. Oldder than that, I have a walkman sport cassette player that works

Good choice Puffy nothin like a little rock to liven things up . Did they at least take out the pole in front of your house . So you could get a good show , I mean it is the least they could do .

Power outage, perfect time for a pipe. No electricity required.
