Just like the title says. I always find it interesting to see what other people keep on their desktops and what their wallpaper is. Also, you can use it as an excuse to clean up all your icons.

It's a fantastic subject (SETI).
I'm of the opinion that if we encounter extra-terrestrial intelligent life, it'll be because it was initiated by that intelligent life. I just can't imagine that we'll be sneaking up on them with any of our gadgets.
My best guess, is that intelligent aliens have such a different perception of the universe, that our technology won't even recognize their technology.
It's a worthwhile project, for the sake of any new discoveries that are made while doing it.
