Nice. I don't own any pokers. Been looking for one with a big outside diameter, 1-7/8" or bigger. I like the way the bigger pipe fits in my hand.

Nice pipes. I have an Amphora poker to clean up eventually. I like the Peterson poker and barrels,

I've alway quietly admired pokers but haven't grabbed one. The ones I see are always a little too heavy for me. I like the shape though.

Tim - None of my Pokers are too heavy to clench and the smaller ones weigh virtually nothing. You should get one.

Thank you Dante!

I enjoy unfinished, virgin, natural briar pipes and watching these Savinelli pipes color is almost too much fun!

I always cringe when we call these "unfinished" pipes. They are certainly finished and with great care. They are simply unstained, or virgin pipes. In fact most "unfinished" pipes have shellac or carnauba on them even. Unfinished is a very different thing. That being said, I do love unstained briar.

The actual name of this series are called Grezza, they are sanded and waxed (greased) unfiltered (3mm) and most have either uninspiring or haphazard grain or perhaps a fill or two. The can be found on the bay, from Italy. I love them!

I've had pokers come and go, but these two I'll probably always have. Top one is a GBD Special, Orly, from France, and I guess you know why I keep it around. The other is a basket pipe made in Italy that was the first pipe I ever bought in 1982. I was told it was a Savinelli second, but who knows. Again it's a keeper.

Nice pair of pokers.

It could very well be a 310 Savinelli, sure looks like it to me.

Oh yes, I probably should. I mean really, I think it's been close to a week since I bought a pipe.

Maybe that last comment was not fair, Mr. Eltang deserves more respect than what I offered.

You guys are a bunch of poker pushers. I'm going to browse now I think.
