I think it's a GBD. Google gbd virgin pipe and you'll see why. If it is, it was made in England or France. Why do you say it's Italian?

It's stamped Italy on the bottom. Sorry didn't get a pic of that. On the bottom of shank near the stem, it's stamped Italy. 6 is the model number stamped on the bottom side of the bowl.

I have many gbd virgins and the stamping doesn't look familiar. Also missing the medallion/stamping on the stem, although that could be a replacement stem.

Yeah, the script didn't look like the GBDs in my search, and I also didn't know if it was missing the medallion because the stem was a replacement. Oh well, so much for my theory; sorry bro :(
