Plastic Tenon Screw / Mortise Bushing First Used?

When was the contemporary type of plastic (or Delrin or nylon) push-pull style tenon screw and screw-in mortise bushing first used on meerschaum pipes? I know that bone screws were the standard before the plastic push-pull connectors. Curious when the plastic push-pull style first showed up.

I do not know but my father bought a meer in 1972 and it had a plastic tenon (screw in type)

I think Fikri Baki was the one which started using them first. I may be wrong.
