Plans Gone Astray

Last nite I posted that because it's so hot I planned to stay inside today and burn some tobacco.Then this morning I got a call.A close friend needed help moving.For four hours I carried furniture and boxes up two flights of stairs.Man I'm too old for this kind of stuff.At least I got back home in time to cool off shower eat,and smoke a couple bowls during the all star game.There's an old saying that if you want friends you have to be one.Some times I wonder about that.

it's the old addage, if you want a friend be a friend.

too old? be glad you can climb the stairs. with athritis, making that second trip worthy of a nice morphen dose.

sometimes it is easier to enlist the help of a friend than it is family.

when you really need them, the loyality of friends and family truly comes shining through. :wink:
a neighbor once told me that when he moved his family into a new community, he asked his new neighbor if he had good neighbor simply replied: did you have good neighbors before?
