I play poker at --Double Down Casino-- on Facebook. Therefore it is legal, and it's play money. Still there is the thrill of victory and pain of defeat. At this time I am 47 million ahead. A lit pipe while playing seems to double my playing and smoking pleasure.

Amen! I play a fair amount of poker ... Texas Holdem No Limit.
When playing online games and tournaments the pipe keeps me centered and relaxed.
I use Full Tilt on the laptop and Live Pro Hold'em (dragonplay) on my Android phone.
The casino where I play most of my live tourney's has a no smoking policy in the poker room.
What's funny is it's on the third floor and the whole rest of the casino is smoking.

I played Euchre for fun with my wife, brother, and future sister-in-law two nights ago. While my brother and future sister-in-law enjoyed cigars, my wife and I lit up our pipes. We had a fire going in the pit and some beverages to accompany us. It was a beautiful night.

I'm dyslexic about cards games of any kind, though I used to bluff my way through bridge games with

my in-laws and late wife. However, I do understand the principle of reading other poker players' faces and body

language as "tells," assuming the game is in person. I think a pipe would be a great way to jam the signals,

literally cloud the issue on occasion.
