Can anyone recommend a pipe in the Dunhill group 1 or 2 size around the $100-175 or less price range. Thanks very much.

It's not clear. Are you trying to buy a Dunhill, or only a Dunhill Group size 1 or 2? A good Group 1 is

the Peterson Belgique, which you can get in a rusticated finish at Iwan Ries for about $58. This

is delicate because it's small, but is a good smoking pipe. EWA pipes, also at the Iwan Ries site,

have good Group 2 pipes, which are really low priced. Also, if you can look at Group 3's, Iwan Ries

Exclusive pipes include several compact Group 3's made by Benton that are well above their price

level in quality.
