Pipe stems

I recently purchased a middleton pipe with a broken stem.The price was right it was dirt cheap.I really like the bowl and I would like to eventually have a churchwarden.So I got thinking that maybe I could purchase a churchwarden stem to put on the bowl and it would kill two birds with one stone so to speak.So I was hoping maybe one of you fellas would be able to tell me if this is possible and if so, where I could buy a stem.

I would suggest finding a pipe repair shop like Walker Briar works or Northwood. They can make up a stem for you.

PIMO has individual churchwarden stems available. You will still need to fit the tenon of the stem to the mortise of the shank though.
