There are many small pipe clubs all over China. I'm starting this thread for anybody in China who wants to share some pipe/tobacco/club photos and comments.
I'll start it off with myself and our little Chongqing Pipe Smokers group. This is a small coffee/wine/pipe shop that we often meet at called MTE. It is a great little environment downtown, but far enough away from the hustle and bustling of the city.

Sometimes we change things up and find a restaurant to meet at/go to.

These two pics are when I celebrated my birthday. We ate a barbecued baby goat, and one of my friends gave my that long Asian pipe. I smoked some Westminister in it.

Hopefully this thread can take off. I'll try to be more aware of my surroundings while out and about so I can share it on here.

I hope to contribute too. So far I haven't found any pipe club where I live, HangZhou, but I'm still looking. I do have some pics of my own ugly mug, but I'm not sure that what's expected

If tobacco pipes become popular with the Chinese, the market is enormous. These groups look like they are really enjoying themselves.

I glad you all enjoyed this post. I hope other people who have had experience living or travelling in China can share some images too.
Whenever we meet up there is always a descent selection of pipe tobaccos. Many of the guys smoke aros, a few smoke latakia heavy blends, and I've always have some virginia blends with me.
There is local tobacco that is shredded up and kind of resembles shredded beef Jerky (not sure if it's still around but it was like chewing tobacco but beef jerky). I still have a bag of it, but I don't like it. I was also given a bunch of air cured (sun cured?) leaves that I tried to make a Cavendish with, but failed. The tobacco molded after all my hard work...
