I have a line on a bench buffer and didn't realize there were so many types of wheel, single stiched vs spiral stiched, sisal vs cotton. Etc
What do I need? Uber-noob question I know, but there it is.

Here is a link. It started off about waxing but there is some great info on buffers, pads, etc.

Thanks Dave. That was the one I looked through, and missed a couple of things, one was this from Phil:
+++1 on using only loose sewn wheels for applying carnauba wax
And the other was the link to Steve Laug's blog.
So, since nobody has mentioned sisal wheels or any other materials I'll ass-u-me plain cotton wheels are the way to go
Again, cheers!
Jamie

Al, a Sissal wheel and a light touch is what we use to freshen, clean and otherwise de-crud blasted and rusticated estates at SPC......
