“Van the Man”. I picked up a greatest hits album somewhere along the way it remains an all time favorite of mine. Can’t believe I’ve never dug deeper into his works, as is my usual habit. No one else can compare to him.
"The Edinburg Tattoo," any year and good navy flake always go well together for me. I really enjoy the "war" pipes and a pipe when the time is right.
I'm Irish, and I love the blues. Van has been a part of my musical consciousness forever. There was a rough patch in my life with which I associate his music which causes me consternation, but I recognize his contributions as seminal.
