I don't hunt but a neighbor gifted me 10 lbs of venison so I could make jerky. Man the salty peppery taste goes darn well with a bowl of ANYthing. 8)

Love me some deer jerky. I can only hope one of my uncles or cousins got lucky this year; otherwise it might be hard to come by. My hunting season was ruined by all this mandatory overtime in Ferguson this past month. It'll make for a good xmas, but sometimes I really hate security work.
