Got a tin of Peterson's Gold Belnd this afternoon and decided to give it a try tonight. It's a very nice blend actually. Somewhat similar to De Luxe Mixture in my opinion. It's a Virginia, Burley, Cavendish blend with a casing of hickory nut, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pretty similar to De Luxe Mixture in that the nutty flavor is pretty much to the forefront. The vanilla came in second and the cinnamon seemed to be just a little touch to mix up the casing combination. The tobacco took the lighting very well and burned evenly down to the bottom of the bowl in a nice white ash. I would definitely reccommend this blend for an aromatic. It was a pleasure.

It's not quite as nutty as De Luxe Mixture and over the last week or so the vanilla has been coming out more when I smoke it now that I've had the tin open for a few weeks. Definitely worth a try if you like aromatics.
