A new addition no markings other than what is on the band.

Nice one. Don't own a straight Rhodesian, but would welcome one.

Owen, you do find some really exquisite pipes!

    The true Bullcap!

My sister pipe, the 411 Kapruff. Mark Irwin tells me that this shape was made between 1937 and 1949

Another very nice pipe Owen. I see Al's post, and pre-Republic would have been my guess also.

Owen, great pickup, I love the older Peterson shapes. Hopefully Sykes will indeed be able to bring some of the oldies back into the lineup.

Very Nice shape and practical shape, been looking for this very shape of Peterson but I assume they do not produce it(411?) anymore, and eventually,407-408 Prince models have replaced it.

That pipe is going to blossom; the band is striking. Go very gently with the clean-up and buffing. You want to preserve some of the patina. That'll be a knockout.

Mark Irwin says that shape disappeared after 1949.

Owen- Any new pics - of the clean up?

I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
