Peterson Barrel Restoration

This little "Barrel" was in a box of estates a few weeks ago at the JB Hayes shop in Winchester VA. I'm not a fan of the p-lip stem but couldn't resist restoring this little gem (22 grams). A member of this forum grabbed it from the Buy/Sell/Trade section last week.

My PM message to Al on this Pete Barrel I recently acquired from him:
"Al, the Pete Barrel smokes great. I lit it up while tending to the bird feeders and doing some general yard/dog chores. The petite chamber smokes a lot longer than I anticipated! Thanx, Dave"
Al, I just got done viewing the Reborn pipe blog. NICE JOB! While I obviously knew it was an estate pipe, the cleanup is amazing and I received it in almost perfect condition. I will enjoy smoking it for many years to come.
