Here are a couple of pics of a patent 1341418/20 Dunhill PO shape that I purchased from Pipestud.

It was in pretty rough condition (as Pipestud fully disclosed in his EBAY listing).

Anyway I took a chance on it, re-rounded the inside of the bowl and sent it to Mike Myers for stem reconditioning.

The tenon needed replacing, the white dot was missing and it was very oxidized. Mike did a great job!

I just smoked it today for the first time and I must say not bad at all.

Thanks Pipestud and Mike.

layinpipe I believe the 1341418/20 patent was used from 1925-1934 along with war years 1940-1943.

My guess is this one is from the 30s. The nomenclature on this pipe is very difficult to read.

Thanks for the business, lawmax3... and that doesn't even look like the same pipe I sold you. Mike did a terrific job and you got yourself quite a bargain!
Thanks again,
Pipestud

What a great-looking piece of history. I wonder what stories she could tell? I bet whoever was the original owner would love to see how his friend is doing so well after nearly 100 years.
