So last week it hit me hard. I ordered 10 in all with 1 so far this week. 7 new and 4 estate. The ones from smokingpipes.com just came last night.
BTW, smokingpipes.com has great customer service.
First is the Peterson Shannon #68 Fishtail. Look at that grain!

Second is Ardor Fantasy Cherrywood with silver. The stem and shank end are made of the same material and is bonded together. Wow

Third is the Stanwell Hans Christian Anderson with 2 stems.

And last is the Chacom Sandblasted Bent Dublin churchwarden. Man I do love them churches.

I am off to smoke them and put them in rotation. More to come!

The Ardor is simply beautiful. I love the grain on the Peterson. I like how the Stanwell Has a churchwarden stem and a shorter stem. ANd the Chacom isn't bad either

I got the Ardor just because of the looks, and I am eager to get it lit up. I am really into churchwardens of late and got the Stanwell just for that reason, two looks in one; (well it does look good too). I have another duelie coming soon. Thanks

I have a Stanwell Hans Christian (sand blast) and it's a wonderful smoking pipe. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I recently received a Shannon 68, too. I'm really pleased with the size of the bowl. And there's enough wood there to keep it from getting too hot.
I especially like the dual stems. I'm partial to churchwardens, too, but it can be difficult to stick one in your pocket.
Enjoy your new pipes!

I just smoked the Ador this morning and OMG, what a great pipe. The tooth feel was spot on. A slight rise in the middle of the lip to catch a tooth right where you want it and it tapers down so quick it does not feel like a brick in your mouth. It fits my hand perfect letting my fingers curl around it like it was made just for me. I wear size 13 so I have big feet and big hands and it is nice to grab a pipe and not have it get lost. The feel is just right, grainy but very well finished so it is smooth on the grain. Even when put in the left hand to light up, my fingers found the right spot. This is a glove in wood. That flat spot on the bottom sits on the chest so it can smoke all day with out being heavy. It does not hurt that it looks fantastic.
Thought you would want to know.
