Welp, PAD got the best of me today. Grabbed this guy off of eBay:

I was really looking to get a Jake Hackert, but I called him earlier today and he told me he's not taking any orders until next year :shock:
I figured this would hold me over till then

I don't think the tobacco is included. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell or distribute tobacco on eBay unless there's a disclaimer in the auction that the tobacco is for collection only and is not to be consumed. Somethin' like that haha

ya i bought some macbaron 7 seas gold off ebay.they said the tin was empty and that they put a "surprise gift" in it. i inquired about the "gift" and he said it was the tobacco and that it was unopened. he just had to word it that way because of ebay policies

and then i bought this new from boswell:

and then i ended up winning the bid on the plateau one too. got the twisted sitter (we're not gonna take it!) and it smoked like it's well broken in on the first smoke.
still waiting to receive the estate boswell from the ebay seller.

I could be wrong, but I think it's a design kind of unique to Boswell. I'm not really a fan, though I don't really like the plateau freehands either.

I would call that more of a "Fan" pipe, while this one would be more of a bridge...

I don't think you'll be disappointed with your choice, I have a Boswell that is very similar to yours and it’s a fine smoking pipe.

Damn it's not often I miss at least getting to see what Jake posts for sale on eBay. I love his pipes and currently own 5 with plans to have at least a 7 day rotation before I'm through. Please post a picture when you get a chance... ::
