Ben Wades have been around since the 1860's. Does anyone on here have any Ben Wade pipes from pre 1900?? I am curious to see how they are marked. Or does anyone know someone who does have one from before 1900?

    Thanks!

Ben Wade, Circa 1890's on Ebay

Nowhere in the world will such a brotherly feeling of confidence be experienced as amongst those who sit together smoking their pipes

Yeaaaah. I was looking to actually confirm that ^ is a true Ben Wade stamp. I know Doug to be awesome and knowledgeable in many things. It would just be nice to see that stamp on a second pipe.

It's one of the hallmarks. Some companies had more than one, or changed the hallmark at different periods of their existence.
