Let's say there is only 1, not even 2, seats left on the Noah's Ark' for a pipe tobacco blender. Who would you choose? My vote would go to the SG/GH and I would argue strongly that given the two companies are combined they should be considered together. if then forced to choose only one of the two I would go for SG.

What would be your choice?

Companies don't blend, blenders blend. Russ Ouelette that sainted blender of the recreated dream ... "War Horse!" End of discussion as far as I'm concerned. Since we'd have the blend, Dan and his coterie of investors would be relegated to the dinghy.

Warren, you are right. I meant companies not blenders and not even blends. So the real question was which company to give a seat on the Noah's Ark. Sorry for the confusion.

For companies, it’d be a three way tie between the Gawith conglomerate, tha Mac Baren Vikings, and Greg Pease. For single blender, I’d have to choose Russ Oulette.

Russ has a wider palate, a deeper knowledge and wider experience with all manner of pipe tobacco blends than anyone past or present.
No contest, with a lot of also-rans.

SG is great choice, doubt any single guy has much say, big company and all.
I'll vote for HU tobacco and Solani tobacco guy, their names escape me
