This is the second of the three Morta pipes by Davorin that I own and the second one to be on his Hall of Fame portion of his website.
Davorin call this black Morta bowl shape the Tulip and it it accented with briar. Keeping it smokey with Capstan Yellow and this smoke is to honor my friend John Fury, keep on keeping on John!

A lot depend on the log being retrieved from the bog and how it drys and then gets cut. Some are plank Cut for furniture, some for bowls and trays, others for pens and of course some will become pipes, check eBay out as there are several sellers from Russia and Croatia that regularly sell Morta blocks and you'll see what I mean, cheers.
