Just can't wait to get on the road again. Life I love is smokin' pipes with my friends and I can't wait to get on the road again.

I'm outta here first thing in the AM to Seattle.

The Seattle Pipe Club's 10th Anniversary Dinner is on Saturday and PipesMagazine.com's official coverage will be done by me poinsonally.

I'll see 1 or 2 shops while I'm out there along with the requisite touristy stuff.

One of the definitions of success is to be paid for doing what you love. I guess this makes you successful.

At Tampa Airport now. I hope my flight at 12:15 out of Washington DC gets out before the snow arrives.

Just heard they are cancelling afternoon flights out of DC, but mine is still alive as of now.

We are about ready for blast off from Tampa. I am posting from my airplane seat.

Is anyone here old enough to have flown when smoking was allowed on planes? That was so long ago. I find it odd that they still have the illuminated no smoking signs. Who are these signs for?

Kevin, is there shag carpet and a lot of orange & yellow upholstery on your plane?

I suppose those "signs" are for those people that suffer from SHC (spontaneous human combustion)...

    Happy Puffin,
Make my Bloody Mary... very dark and very hot.

Eww, bloody mary's are nasty! (I hate tomato juice) but I wouldn't mind if you drank a Gin and tonic for me... Yum! Glad you made it to DC!

I made it to Seattle. I was ready to be freezing my butt off, but the weather is the same here as in St. Pete FL.

High of 60 degrees at both places.

Low in St. Pete tonight is 50 and in Seattle it is 46.

Hors D'oeuvres and Cocktails at the Club Level are in 40 minutes.

You laugh now, but we'll see who has the last laugh when you return to your home office to find that your stash and pipes have been distributed to bubba, Bob, unclearthur, cortez, lawrence and me... On second thought, just me, cortez and unclearthur. (The other guys work for you, so they can fend for themselves!
