Ran across a couple of older meerschaums today in an antique shop but they were expensive.. are the older meerschaums worth that much? There were no markings on the pipes or in the cases. One was a womans hand which appeared to be holding the bowl, the other was an eagle claw that appeared to be holding the bowl. both were in good shape but had been smoked extensively. Just wondering what they are actually worth? or a ball park figure anyway.

To me without some way to identify them as to date they are just nice estate pipes. I have both designs in very recent manufacture.
