Hi MSO. It has the name Salim etched into it. Back in the 90's, maybe even earlier, TB B&M had a good selection of Meerschaums. For years I regretted not buying the lattice design for the same money, but in looking at the color over the years I am happy with it. I do not wear gloves on my schaums. All of my pipes get handled like scarred leather. My other two show more scarring.
Thank you. I still wish I could remember whether this was 20 or 30 YO, not that it makes a diff. I've started and stopped so many times, but at 60 I don't think I have a reason to avoid baccy anymore.
Here is a new Salim that is the only one of similar design I can find. Price is 330$. After a lifetime of bad decisions, save, marrying Xuan, This one shines. I paid less than 100$ for it.
