Does anyone know or remember this brand of Tobacco. Was just browsing Kijiji and come across it.

Wow. Now THAT's a codger burley of the old school. I don't known when it was discontinued, but it was a very popular brand for a good chunk of the 20th century, back when there dozens of "American" blends to choose from. I've had some older smokers tell me it was a very high-quality blend.

It was a R.J. Reynolds blend. The tin is probably from the 1970's and not earlier that 1963. Use of 5 digit zip codes began in 1963 so that's a base date for this particular tin.

I'd HAPPILY drop a hundred bucks for this, but not without inspecting it closely, as in actually holding it in my hands. It's probably some awesome, memorable, wonderful stuff -- if the seal is intact.

I got an old burly. Turns 70 this month. Nov 1942 tax seal. Still unopened.

George Washington pipe tobacco was 1 of the 3 tobaccos that had the Grabow Westbrook offer.
