All,
I am selling an very old German pipe cabinet. it will holds up to 24 pipes.
There is nothing wrong with the cabinet as far as I can see. The glass on the cabinet has a yellowish tint to it. I am guessing to protect from UV rays or maybe that is what they did back then. There is two holes drilled in the back which was used for hanging.

I am downsizing due to the awesome job market I am having to move into a smaller place.
I am asking $145.00 plus shipping or OBO.
Thanks Bryan
Please let me know if you have any questions

The cabinet is: w 39.5 X H 39.5 X D 11.5
The glass has imperfections consistent with that area and I can't see any indications it was replace.

I have a similar cabinet and I will say it is good to have the pipes handy but protected.

I'm an old glazier. The phenomenon of glass becoming changed over time due to its inherent liquid characteristics is not likely represented in this particular cabinet. (it's called slump, and usually happens in storefront glass that is float plate/annealed as opposed to tempered.)

The hinges don't look all that antique, either.

I'd say from looking at the pics that that glass is an amber patterned glass. Probably 5/32 thick. The false muntins also suggest to me that this is not an old (relatively) piece.

It is really nice!

The fiber board top strut is a little modern but it is a very nice cabinet. I thought about it but it just will not work for me with my style of pipe. It should make someone very happy.

I like that cabinet. It would work well for most of my pipes which are 1/4 bent or less.

I am not claiming this to be an antique. Thanks for the clarification from Mr. Newbroom. I just call it that sorry if there was any confusion.
The cabinet is still up forsale.
