Today after months of paperwork with the feds I finally received a walker. I was falling several times a week due to brain damage from a couple little strokes.
Now I will get the pity I so richly deserve. I will be spending more time in front of my computer and a good bit more on the forum. I will miss the mtns
this spring and summer etc etc.

Sorry to hear about your health, but glad you are going to spend more time with us.

You should be applying for an "All Terrain" vehicle to get around instead of that walker!

I'll smoke a ceremonial bowl in tribute to better health.

    Best of luck to you.

Did you get the mag wheels and side pipes?

There is nothing like being left alone again, to walk peacefully with oneself in the woods.
To boil one's coffee and fill one's pipe, and to think idly and slowly as one does it.

Glad you can still get around. My Dads been having Hell getting any help, he finally just bought the things he needed instead of trying to jump through their hoops.

I'm disabled.... sometimes I fall a lot and use a cane to help keep my balance. Kinda nice to use the old style canes instead of those manufactured aluminum rigs.

The misses uses a walker from time to time, a lot more stable than a cane if you are really wobbly. A bowl of Magnum Opus for your health, Manytrees.
