Since Kevin started the preceding thread I don't know exactly how many posts there were.
A full string will be approximately be 850 posts plus the second string has 708. Totaling approximately 1,560 posts.

I'm starting off November with a bowl of Peterson Irish Oak with a pinch of Perique in my Uncle Arthur Tapered Apple.

Finished my Halloween smoke just before Midnight. I had a bowl of Angler's Dream from my Stanwell Bulldog. Not a bad way to finish off October!

By the eternal! There is a man whose form should be cast in deathless bronze and the statue placed in every college in the land. It is not book-learning young men need, nor instruction about this and that, but a stiffening of the vertebrae which will cause them to be loyal to a trust, to act promptly, concentrate their energies; do the thing - "carry a message to Garcia!" Still 2 hours remaining in October on this coast.

Jackknife Plug earlier was right tasty. Just finished my 1st bowl of it's counterpart, Tripleplay, again, cubed and in a cob.
After 1 bowl of each my initial preference is for Jackknife.

Just now lighting my final bowl for October 2011, PS English Oriental Supreme in a bent Dr.G Viking

    Snus, snuff and briar.
Not much more required in a day.

Reading all the posts about snuf/snus the past few days got me to a local smoke shop this afternoon to see what was available. I was surprised at the selection but couldn't pull the trigger just yet... still on the fence and unsure of myself in using them (well, the snuf anyway). I took my dough and found a ripe looking stick that I liked instead. So tonight it was a Don Diego Playboy.

Just finished a Spiced Rum in my Vauen billiard while the hotel's fire alarms were going off. Faulty smoke alarm. I'm a Cheesehead and recently "discovered" Uhle's in Milwaukee. I purchased House of Uhle's (maple and vanilla) which reminds me of Thanksgiving. I'll be smoking that tomorrow on the way home to St. Louis and throughout November. Also, I'm looking forward to their Christmas 2011 blend due out around Thanksgiving.
