A forum sponsor has one of these available now.
I have no interest in the shape, know nothing about the maker and am not terribly interested in any current production pipes from GB. Further, I have never done business with the seller. In other words, you are on your own. :):)
I am a hopeless (pipe) porn addict, but if more pipes looked like that, I would probably be cured.

I have several of Ian Walker's Northern Briars. They are expertly crafted and are great smokers right out of the box.

Bad ass pipe. Max at pipes2smoke gets them on occasion too if you feel like staying with a N.American vendor. Bollito is great too. I won't buy Ian's pipes until he chamfer's his tennons as a point of pride

You can go directly to Ian and he will make whatever you want from his catalog. I have done this twice.

That is an interesting example, at 64 grams, about 30 grams smaller than is typically seen for this shape.

Yeah jack why bother dealing with Mr Walker in person to get the pipe you want when you could go trough a third party.

Just trying to keep the peace at this point.

I have always just contacted Ian directly and he is really easy to work with.

Should have just stayed out of this.

When I want to purchase a pipe I always talk to a friend who knows a guy that has heard of a person who remembers seeing a pipe that might be the shape I am looking for and they check with a cousin who saw the price and double checks with a made guy to make sure I'm not going to sleep with the fishes. Only then do I double back and consider purchasing the pipe.
If I went straight to forum sponsors, I might get whacked. Of course, sometimes the PAD is too strong...

To be clear, I appreciate jackswilling info and course of action (i.e. going directly to the pipe maker). I do that whenever possible rather than going third hand through a forum sponsor. Of course I spend more than 100X the cost of a pipe at certain forum sponsors.
Perhaps Ian might even
chamfer's his tennon
on a pipe if one asked him directly.

R I got a laugh from your post.

Fellah I know down the pub buys his pipes the same way, so it's not uncommon.
