Who makes Nording Higher Grades? (I am talking about $400+ Nording pipes.)

Mr. Nording himself or one of his elves?

I've always heard that 15-20 grade pipes are made by Eric himself. If you go to the older pipes it is harder to tell, the grading system was different.

The pipes above are Grade 19 and are listed in the Estates section. The first one is smoked and the other unsmoked. I am guessing they will be atleast 50% more if they were in the New Pipes section.

I have a few Nording grades, up to 20. My understanding that he personally carved those that are graded 15 and above. However, I've seen quite a few that are lower in grade than 15 that I would swear were his work as well. My assumption is that if it's 15 or higher, it's certain to be one he carved personally, and that there are others he carved but graded lower due to not being totally happy with the grain, or shape, etc.
