There's something fuzzy attached to it, but that's one outstanding pipe. 8O
It's hard to know, but I would guess that one's pretty old. Hope it smokes well for you.

I've got a dumbass question, Bradley. But at least it's sincerely asked because I know so little about Meers. Did your pipe from Marty start out white or was it pre-colored or pre-stained by the maker? (Is that even done?)
I was always under the impression that they started white and began coloring as tobacco was pushed through. Yet didn't Pioneer make some African Meers that were almost tan out of the box? I'm guessing where the stone comes from has something to do with all of this as well.
At any rate, your pipe is beautiful. Enjoy it in great health, my friend.

It is colored from age and use. It is GORGEOUS. They can come precolored and some of the newer ones are waxed an oxblood that looks like it is pre-aged. That is not the case, i believe with Brad's.

Jim it is very old and was colored when I got it. The Silver Ferrule on shank is very thick. It was God awful dirty inside, still cleaning but getting better. I can see I will be smoking it quite a bit.

That is an absolutely beautiful pipe, Bradley - it's good to see it go to a good, appreciative home.
I hope it brings you years of pleasure.
