Just bought a Nimrod 'nut and bolt' lighter on an auction. paid a fair price for it. it is ~68 years old, so I didnt expect perfect, however the flint is static welded and the striker wheel wont turn. i have tried to remove the flint holder but wont move. Before I start trying to chemically or mechanically remove this 'flint holder'. any one have one with this issue? any good dos/donts??
It is very close to being functioning and i will get it functioning in the end.
