I'm sure it will make perfect since to me once I am enlightened. Can some one please tell me what "PAD" means? I'm seeing it everywhere and it's driving me nuts. Thanks!

Funny thing - I've never really caught PAD except for when I saw one pipemaker's work and just HAD to commission one. I have just two pipes I smoke regularly, another and I'm perfectly fine with that. TAD on the other hand... that's what gets me!

We use a lot of pipe-centric abbreviations on here to make communicating easier. But, I can see someone new getting very confused with us discussing ODF and OGS using the DGT but YMMV. Here is a list of the most common ones you'll see. http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/terminology
